Looks like a wonderful way to spend a rainy day. I like that pop of red on the umbrella outside, it draws my eye over there and acts as a secondary focal point.
Watercolor was my first love.
I used to bring in a small watercolor set and paint in my car during my break.
And painted local scenery for over ten years.
There were times when I painted watercolor en plein air and sold my work to morning joggers, lunch time pass-byers and evening walkers everyday.
Then switched to oil and painted about ten years.
Now I'm back to watercolor and still love it.
It's like an old friend who greets me after all these years, warm, cheerful, spontaneous and surprising!
Love the mood of this painting - it does make one want to think of some story. Thank you for visiting my blog! Cheers, Judy
